Escape

The inspiration for the project came from the message prompt sound that kept coming to the designer's mind after work. Psychological detachment refers to the withdrawal of individuals from the working state at both the time, space and psychological perspectives after work. Drawing from this notion, the designer created a swift switch between on and off work status through quick changes of clothes to help the wearer quickly get rest. The designer practiced zero waste tailoring to achieve single piece in two-way dressing, embodying the sustainable fashion concept from every detail of the cloth.

Light Surge

The appearance of light is accompanied by dawn and dusk. When the light shines, it brings sensory pleasure. Light is full of life, with emotion and experience; Technology gives different display. Light Surge explores the relationship between materials, technology, and clothing. As a technological fiber material, optical fiber has more possibilities for the spatial structure between clothing and body. When the clothing combines the light-guided fiber with the artificial glass through sewing and handmade embroidery, the contrast and details of the light created.

Skin Lift

This skin lift bra offers instant improvement on the tummy's skin texture. Its results are similar to a tummy tuck without the pain, costs and risks of surgery. The skin on the tummy gets attached onto the garment by means of a special technique, instantly creating younger looking skin and a slim waistline. This skin bra also improves the shape of the body without the discomfort of a shape garment as it is light and comfortable to wear, but its main function is to improve the look of exposed skin, offering women the confidence to wear revealing clothes, regardless of their age and shape.

The design of Hybrid Beauty collection is to use the cuteness as the survival mechanism. Founded cute features are ribbons, ruffles, and flowers, and they are remade by traditional millinery and couture techniques. This recreates old couture techniques to modern hybrid, which is romantic, dark, but also eternal. The whole design process of Hybrid Beauty promotes sustainability to create timeless designs.

Broken Sovereign

This graceful outfit is designed with Tang Dynasty and Malaysian Chinese culture in mind. As they all know that Malaysia is a multi-racial country, so this outfit is tailored to specifically reflect the problem in their society. Nowadays, some of Malaysian Chinese don’t even know how to speak Chinese, or even write their own name in Chinese. So in this collection, the outfit is telling them never to forget their mother tongue and most importantly, who they are and what they represent.
