Back to Black

Back to Black is a fashion collection of three looks inspired by the night sky. Each garment is made from elastic mesh and stretch knit fabric, which provide transparency, fluidity and a close fit. Hand embroidery is applied with beads and bugle beads to recreate the shimmer and texture of a starry sky. Flowing silhouettes and draped capes refer to Slavic mythology and the god Khors. Rooted in Ukrainian heritage, the collection can be worn for special occasions or displayed as an artistic exhibit.

Wool Softin Yarn

Wool Softin Yarn is a wool blend T shirt designed for daily wear. The garment uses a yarn made by an embedded composite spinning process, which forms a four in one structure where staple fibers encase a filament. The T shirt is breathable, machine washable and easy to maintain. Color options include black, white, gray and deep blue, with a three dimensional flocked logo print.

Undiscovered Landscapes

While it is possible to explore almost every corner of the Earth on computer screens, is it possible to rediscover the world? Coats made from sewing industry waste, it leads a new sustainable aesthetic. The textures of the fabrics resemble shifting landscapes, like maps seen from above, urging reflection on sustainability and global political tensions. The coat symbolizes warmth, offering refuge against life’s fragility and the uncertainty of changing world.

X World

X World is a conceptual garment inspired by X-ray photographs of insects. The design translates an insect exoskeleton into wearable form, placing layers of shell-like structures on the human body. X World is made with the palace lantern craft of China, a technique listed as intangible cultural heritage. After many material tests, a frame of iron wire was combined with silk gauze, a pairing that is both light and flexible. The garment is delicate yet strong, and presents vulnerability as a temporary form of protection.
